- The marriage rate is plummeting.
- 54% of children don’t reach their 17th birthday with a married mom and dad in the home, leading to a decrease in faith in younger generations.
- Loneliness is at an all-time high.
- This crisis has directly resulted in a loss of faith in Jesus Christ.
WE CAN TURN THE TIDE
Holy Spirit Catholic Church will become a hub for marital and relationship health, turning the tide of loneliness, decline in faith, unhappiness, and ineffectiveness. Our mission, guided by the Holy Spirit, begins with creating space to develop healthy relational connections and to encourage deeper community engagement.

Married couples of the Good Shepherd Pastorate are invited to go on a date at least one time per month in June and July, then submit a photo for chances to win prizes.

Holy Spirit and St. Dominic families are invited. The afternoon will begin with 2:00PM Mass at Broom Tree’s Sts. Isidore & Maria Chapel (fulfills Sunday obligation). Recreation to follow (swimming, etc.) and a cookout at Broom Tree Youth & Family Camp. Separate informational sessions for women and men, led by Fr. Paul Hoesing, President-Rector at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary.
