Volunteer at Holy Spirit!
Each weekend, over 120 Volunteers are needed to help the liturgies run smoothly at Holy Spirit.
Click the button below to share your volunteer preferences. Church staff will contact you regarding scheduling and address any concerns you have.

vOLUNTEER rOLES
ALTAR SERVERS
Altar servers assist the priest during the Mass. This ministry is open to all students in 5th grade and older. To be an altar server you must attend a training session.
LECTORS
Lectors read aloud the scriptures, responsorial psalms and general intercessions. Training is required.
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTER OF HOLY COMMUNION (EMHC)
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to those who come to Holy Communion at all liturgies. Training is required.
HOMEBOUND EXTRAORDINARY MINISTER OF HOLY COMMUNION (EMHC)
Eucharistic Ministers distribute the Body of Christ to those who are unable to attend Masses and receive Holy Communion. Training is required.
MINISTRY SUPPORT
Ministry Support assists with the preparations for Mass and ensures that all the servers, lectors, and Eucharistic ministers are present for Mass. Training is required.
GREETER
Greeters welcome parishioners and visitors as they arrive for Mass.
USHER
Ushers assist with seating, collections, and the flow of the liturgy. Training is required.
SACRISTAN
Sacristans prepare the sacred vessels and the sanctuary area for Mass. Training is required.
ROSARY LEADER
Leads the rosary a half hour before the weekend Masses. No training required.
